HyperActive rented six Canon HJ22 lenses and four HJ14 wide-angle lenses to NEP UK for the 2019 Betfred World Snooker Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield. Running from Saturday 20th April to Monday 6th May, the tournament was ultimately won by Judd Trump, who took John Higgins apart 18-9 in the final.

Records fell in what has been described as “the final that had everything”, with the players making more centuries (11) in a professional match than had ever been seen before – and Trump individually scoring 7 of them.

It was Trump’s maiden World Championship title, and he becomes the first player since 2003 to win the World Championship / Masters double in the same year.

He collected £500,000 in prize money, and became the first person ever to amass season earnings of over £1m. He’s now a career-high second in the world rankings.
