About 2010 Winter Olympics:
Canada hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics with some 2,500 athletes taking part in the events in many locations, both in Vancouver and up in the mountain resort of Whistler.
The atmosphere was electric and the Canadian crowd have been one of the most joyest and celebratory ever.
UK entrants this year included 52 athletes and we saw a Gold Medal for Amy Williams in the skeleton.
Job Overview:
Hyperactive equipment was used by 3 major broadcasters with setups at the IBC, at 5 of the event venues and in hotel rooms in Whistler. Avid Interplay was used extensively with Hyperactive supplying and supporting 6 full setups which are fully integrated with EVS servers. Three and a half tonnes of kit shipped out of our warehouse at the end January together with a couple of hundred kilos worth of support engineers!
