About The Culture Show:

Throughout the Festival, the BBC's Culture Show sets up an Edinburgh base and Hyperactive were there to supply the editing facilities for the production of 3 feature shows.

Job Overview:

Three full specification HD edit suites connected to shared storage enables the editors to collaborate in cutting the show. A further Media Composer dedicated to ingesting media from HDCam tapes takes some of the load off the editing positions.

To ensure that the finished programme complies with technical standards an Eyeheight Legaliser was connected in the signal path as the finished programmed was laid back to SR tape ready for transmission.
