Job Overview:

We were able to deploy a whopping 96 Terabytes of media storage here thanks to our ActiveSAN. Three 32TB ActiveRAID chassis under the management of a pair of ActiveSAN controllers provide a high performance, completely reliable, storage solution for Apple XSan clients. Six Apple MacPro Computers running Final Cut Pro connected to the SAN create an incredibly powerful location editing  installation fitted in our customer's OB trucks. Integration with EVS through a couple of XFiles brings six angles of streaming coverage from the Snooker tables to the editors' desktops.

Altogether a remarkable setup that enabled the production team to bring edited highlights, colourful player profiles, fascinating archive clips and entertaining music sequence to our BBC TV screens.
