Sky Boxing Sky's outside broadcast contractor approached Hyperactive to supply and install the edit suite for this high profile production. We worked together with the OB company to integrate a Final Cut Pro editing system into a mobile VT truck and its existing EVS network.

The beauty of this setup is its simplicity. Just add two boxes to an EVS network to create an on-line file based editing solution. Final Cut Pro running on an Eight Core Apple Mac Pro box is an industry standard powerful non linear editor and for the boxing it was enhanced with Sapphire and Magic Bullet plug ins. EVS XFile(2) is the box that connects the FCP to the EVS network allowing streams and clips to be transferred to FCP storage and finished packages to be sent back to EVS for playback.
