About Reading Festival 2010:
It wouldn't be an English summer if it didn't rain on a bank holiday weekend but a little damp weather didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the Reading Festival and we were back again this year with an SD EVS and Avid installation.
Servicing BBC Three and two Red Button feeds, our EVS XT(2) servers were used to ingest coverage from 3 different stages and package it up into highlights. Integrating Avid Media Composer editors enabled the BBC team to edit the live coverage if required and to combine it with single camera footage shot on DV camcorders.
