About The Open Golf 2010:
This year it was the turn of St Andrews to host the UK's major professional Golf tournament.
A complex setup serving 4 different broadcasters with EVS IP Director at the heart of it. A network of 12 EVS XT(2) servers were used to ingest OB coverage, to digitize tapes and for playout into the transmission OB trucks. Each of the 15 IP Directors has access to the EVS network enabling each editor to send media clips to the Avid editing network. Avid Unity storage in conjunction with Avid Interplay media management makes for a powerful shared editing environment.
