Midsomer Murders Midsomer Murders, currently starring John Nettles, is one of the top rated drama series on UK television and has been sold to over 230 territories from the U.S. to China.  With peak time ratings consistently in excess of 6.5 million viewers and with the many daytime repeats reaching 2 million viewers, the series was described by the Independent as "a jewel in ITV's crown."  Filmed on location in and around villages in the Chilterns and the Home Counties, Midsomer Murders has proved to be an English classic. Now into its 13th series and over 70 episodes, a further series is already commissioned, taking production into 2010.
