Following the success of the recent third series, ITV have shot a fourth series of Lewis, the Inspector Morse spin-off starring Kevin Whately. Inspired by the Inspector Morse series adapted from the novels by Colin Dexter, who also serves as consultant on Lewis, the series also stars Laurence Fox as sidekick DS Hathaway.
It's purely a matter of personal preference. Some editors prefer Apple Mac, other prefer Windows PC and on this project the choice was Mac. Hyperactive were ready to help whatever the flavour and put together an Avid Unity based shared editing environment for the post production of this well known ITV drama. As usual we were there to support the project too, and there were been a few bugs in the very latest software, but nothing that our Avid team couldn't handle.
