Project Casestudy:
James May’s Toy Stories
About James May’s Toy Stories:
Using some of the nation’s best loved toys James May brings children and parents together to make his childhood toy fantasies come true.
James May is a man on a mission: he wants to get kids out of their bedrooms and away from their Playstations, he wants to drag parents off their backsides and get them all playing together again.
To do this he’s going to take some of Britain’s best loved toys and put generations of families at the heart of some ludicrously ambitious adventures that will remind us all of the joys of making something together, with toys that have long captured the imagination.
From a Lego house, to a 30ft Meccano bridge to a full-size Airfix plane, James will be designing and building these super toys with the help of a team of architects and engineers, but most importantly a group of kids.
Job Overview:
No glue needed on this Avid project! Just a good selection of the very best components, a hefty blob of storage and a sqeeze of support. This Meccano set needed no instruction guide and flew beautifully from start to finish. Another seamless build and not a spare part in sight.
