A recent splash out by our MD on our local ice-cream van saw a much welcomed and eclectic mix of flavours and sizes and a few statements of position.

While most of us including the most recent member of the team (Peter) opted for the traditional, rather modest 99p fake and Liam the politically discreet choc-ice, it’s no surprise that our illustrious MD James went for the Magnum gold. Although he says we had the choice.. we think he like’s the size and feeling of power his Magnum purchase gave him. Next time we have all pledge to ‘go large’ on the ‘dipped.. Fat Boy’… a 99p taken to the extreme with 2 flakes, £2 worth of silky smooth ice-cream.. all dipped in rich milk chocolate. The battle has begun!

With the World Cup firmly underway and everything to play for on Wednesday, it seems the competition in the office has come to a head with Liam out performing both James and the other guys when it comes to completing their collections.

Although some cheating has been claimed, it's likely Liam will be first to the post with only 2 more to complete his collection. Hot on his tail is Peter and James though, so who knows! If anyone out there has a Nam Song-Chol or a Thomas Kahlenberg then you may be in a great position to bargain.

Many congratulations to James and Rachel on the birth of their son William, born today at 6:38pm. We're sure many of our customers would like to join us here at Hyperactive in sending our very best wishes to the Gander family. Weighing in at 8lbs 2oz, William looks just like his Dad who is taking a little time off to adjust to his new lifestyle. James will be back in the office on September 9th and no doubt will have plenty of nappy anecdotes to share.
