Another year has shot by and we’re back again for Glastonbury 2010. Set to be even bigger and better than past years, we’re all hoping for some super sunny days as this world famous music festival gets ready to rock Bangor is South Whales.This year will see another Avid and EVS integration with a rather hefty amount of storage. As usual it's likely to be Tom down there as his love for music and previous festival projects experiences makes him the best man.
With Rob flying back after the setup. what better way to spend a month than in the warmth and throng of the World Cup, although it wasnt quite to warm as he expected.. infact it was rather chilly on occasions.
Delivering setups and support to 4 major broadcasters with coverage across the UK, USA and Brazil, hyperactive has shipped out and setup a plethora of systems including Final Cut’s, Avid Nitris DX’s, Avid Interplays and Avid Symphonys’s, not to mention the usual suspects for high availability network storage delivery such as the Avid Airspeed Ingest and Playout server. With some much out there, it’s no wonder Joe’s been busy, but it’s all going well and with Tom and Rob back home if needed, it looks like it’s going to be another great project!
The last few weeks have seen us in and out of some of the finest music events and festivals. A few weeks ago we were over in Bangor for Radio 1’s Big Weekend… Last week saw us on the island for the Isle of Wight Festival and this week we see our guys at a mud free (so far!) Glastonbury. With Reading on the way, our summers looking good and Tom’s in his element. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for all the photos!
