Well, that’s what we are hoping. We would like you all to take a moment to welcome Les who has joined our accounts and is taking over from Chris. With many years of experience within the broadcast sector and an outgoing personality, we think she’s going to fit right in. The only question we have to ask now is what’s the initiation going to be? With no need for sky hooks or tartan paint in sight, the left handed flight case or the £100 bonus for the most attractive members of staff are both looking good. As you would expect, even at Christmas we're here 24/7 if you need us. The actual office will however have a reduced number of staff and will operate an 'emergency only' service for regular customers from the 24th December 2009 to 3rd January 2010. Rest assured however we will be back in force after celebrating the new year and here for normal business as of the 4th January 2010.

So as the saying goes: 'work hard, play hard' and it's seems we're firmly committed to both. With a strong team spirit both in and out of the office, its not surprising the launch of something like 'Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2' sparked some interest.

While many of us aren't into the 'gaming' thing, it seems we've still been drawn into the offices ungrounded movement. With battles taking place in evening and weekends from the comfort of their own homes, we've heard tales of casualties and disaster as well as gloats of success (you know who you are!), not to mention the surprising and most welcome interest from several clients who have joined the throng as the battle continues.

Many congratulations to James and Rachel on the birth of their son William, born today at 6:38pm. We're sure many of our customers would like to join us here at Hyperactive in sending our very best wishes to the Gander family. Weighing in at 8lbs 2oz, William looks just like his Dad who is taking a little time off to adjust to his new lifestyle. James will be back in the office on September 9th and no doubt will have plenty of nappy anecdotes to share.
