Hyperactive Broadcast has been operating in the Broadcast TV and Feature Film market for over 25 years from our UK headquarters near Farnham, Surrey.

 

Our team is founded on an eclectic mix of seasoned industry professionals, technical engineers and support staff providing a wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge in all areas of live and post production for both television and film. Combined with an exemplarily team of hire co-ordinators and admin staff we pride ourselves in being known for our exceptional level of service and the highest standards of equipment and care.

 

With a rolling investment program and a commitment to maintaining our standing in the industry, our hire stock is meticulously maintained and managed by our engineering team with tight checks, regular maintenance, scheduled reviews and monitored feedback from our on-site engineers and clients meaning that when it comes to it, you can always trust our equipment to always be ready to go and stay running.

 

Our support team and technical engineers are considered the best in the industry. Having worked on hundreds of critical live broadcasts, included more recently the London 2012 Olympics as well as many well-known feature films and Large scale Drama's such as Game of Thrones, Narnia and Die Hard we pioneered the integration of Avid Nitris DX and Final Cut Pro editing systems with EVS IP Networks in live HD configurations since their inception in around 2008 and our work on the BBC Proms in 2009. Since then we continue to asses new technology and expand our knowledge and expertise by actively encouraging our support staff and engineers to develop their skills and interests in the equipment they work with and the projects on.

 

With our central location near Farnham, our operation is truly international. Whilst we are in central London every day and regularly deliver equipment to the new MediaCityUK complex in The Quays, Pinewood Studios, Elstree and many other locations and across the UK, we are almost always across the other side of the world as well. Our equipment and onsite engineers are just as at home in rooms in Soho for a feature as they are in a Portacabin in a field for The Hackney Weekend, an OB truck outside Meydan Grandstand for the Dubai World Cup or a warehouse in Serbia for Coriolanus. Our true 24/7 complete support service is second to none.

 

And behind all this are the two original owners Mike Jopp and Bob Griffiths who are still very much involved in the business and who together with our MD James Gander continue to look for ways to improve and evolve our services to you.
